ok so last night I went to a marching band concert... or competition.
there was this great performance from Thialand. they were up first. worth going early for.
Drum Corps International, I remember now.I suggest catching that if it plays in your area. it's worth checking out.
not that I'd go again. but it's a worthwhile experience.

these kids travel long distances in a bus. sleep in sleeping bags on gymnasium floors night after night and train for hours.
that's dedication.
I got a kick out of the judge though. he was traped in between marching musicians and nearly was bumped more than once. he got out pretty quickly.
